Senator Jack Reed joined local Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees as they kicked-off the 2nd annual fundraiser for Operation Tribute, a non-profit organization that helps provide gifts to children of active-duty service men and women.
Now through December 2nd, guests who donate $1 to Operation Tribute will receive a coupon for a free medium hot or iced coffee to be used in January as a thank you from Dunkin’ Donuts.
More than 500 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Rhode Island, Bristol County MA, Maine, Vermont, and participating counties in New Hampshire and New York State will take part in the fundraiser. In 2011, more than $75,000 was raised in Rhode Island and Bristol County, MA.

Operation Tribute is a non-profit organization, serving children of military families throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey during the holiday season. Dunkin’ Donuts’ support will help provide age appropriate gifts to children of active-duty service men and women registered in the program.
