Cristina Deanna Mendez and Taylor Hunt Barton were married on July 14, 2012 at Santa Cruz International Church, Santa Cruz, Bolivia with reception following at the Las Palmas Country Club.  The couple traveled to Rhode Island where wedding festivities continued, including a wedding ceremony celebrated under the pergola of the Barton's home, followed by a clambake.  Guests also attended a reception the following night at Potowomut Golf Club.

The bride is a graduate of the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas; and the groom is a graduate of East Greenwich High School, Furman University and the University of Maine.

The couple is residing in Alpharetta, Georgia.
