ROCKY HILL SCHOOL STUDENTS ACE NATIONAL LATIN EXAM

East Greenwich, RI, April 16, 2012  - Out of 45 Rocky Hill Middle and Upper School students who took the National Latin Exam, 25 received accolades.  Freshmen Brady Dill (Greene) and Shane Woolley (East Greenwich) had perfect papers and senior William Larcom (East Greenwich) received a college scholarship offer as a result of his performance.

• MS Introductory Latin Outstanding Achievement:
  Seventh-graders Jamie Frost (Narragansett) and Megan Caruso (Warwick), eighth-grader Michael Santos (Saunderstown)
• US Cum Laude:
  Juniors Elias Bello (Central Falls) and Danielle Trombley (Newport), senior Shannon O'Rourke (Warwick), sophomore Jasmine Jencks (Seekonk, MA)
• US Magna Cum Laude:
  Freshmen Stephanie Petrone (Rumford) and Raymond Mancini (Cranston), sophomores Kayla DiSegna (Cranston) and Matthew Visich (Wakefield), junior Brendan Lada (North Kingstown), seniors Steven Petteruti (East Greenwich) and Maria Charbonneau (Saunderstown)
• US Maxima Cum Laude: (Silver Medal):
  Juniors Vaughn Gooding (Jamestown), Kevin Lieb (East Greenwich) and Nick Charbonneau (Saunderstown), eighth-grader Zach Jennings (West Kingston)
• US Summa Cum Laude:
