Vitamin Angels At EG United Methodist Church

Vitamin Angels
is an organization dedicated to reducing child mortality by connecting infants and children under five with essential nutrients. In 2012 Vitamin Angels will help 15 million children in 38 countries attain good health and the opportunity to lead meaningful and productive lives.

Established in 1994, Vitamin Angels is the only charitable organization in the world that is solely dedicated to providing vital nutrition to children and families need, with no borders and no boundaries. 95% of donations go to those in need.

This Christmas, the East Greenwich United Methodist Church will be decorating our Giving Tree with vitamin angels!  For as little as 25 cents, Vitamin Angels can save a child from blindness just one of the tragic outcomes of vitamin deficiency, particularly vitamin A, which is rampant in developing countries.

We all have the opportunity to become angels this year! We have angel ornaments that can be personalize and place on the tree with each donation. Everyone is welcome to participate, can get additional information about vitamin angels and add their own donation and ornament to our tree.

Be an angel. Make a difference.

Participate in the Vitamin Angels community. Big or small, your contribution matters. By getting involved today you are giving children around the world a tomorrow. EGUMC will be accepting donations for Vitamin Angels this month. Visit www.egumc.com and http://www.vitaminangels.org/get-involved.
