Monday, Jan. 30

5:08 p.m. — Police arrested Michael Patrick Ryan, 42, of Fairway Drive in Coventry, on three bench warrants from Third District Court for failure to appear. He was caught during an investigation into another matter; police were familiar with him and checked his record upon seeing him. Ryan could not make bail and was transferred to the ACI.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

10:55 a.m. — Police arrested Jodi Dumont, 33, of New Lexington Road in North Kingstown, for driving on a suspended license after police noticed that the inspection sticker on her car was expired. She had been driving north on Post Road near Franklin Road. Further checking turned up a suspended car registration in addition to the suspended driver’s license. Dumont was issued a court summons and her car was towed from the scene.

11:45 a.m. — Police arrested Christopher Lombardi, 38, of Wenscott Lane in North Providence, on charges of driving with a suspended license during a checkpoint for traffic violators on Main Street. Routine checking of Lombardi’s license plate number turned up the suspended license. A passenger in the car had a valid driver’s license so she drove the car from the seen.

Thursday, Feb. 2

9:47 a.m. — Police arrested Shane Creamer, 20, of Church Street in West Warwick, for disorderly conduct after he turned himself in for a fight he was involved in that took place on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Police gave Creamer a court summons and released him.

Friday, Feb. 3

12:33 a.m. — Police arrested a North Kingstown woman for reckless driving and eluding police. The woman was clocked on radar driving 83 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 4 heading south. She did not stop when EG police turned on their siren and lights so police followed her to her house in NK. Once at her house, she attempted to pull into the garage and activate the automatic door before police could reach her. Police, however, got into the garage before the door was fully down. Even then, the woman allegedly refused to leave her car for a while. According to the report, there was a strong smell of alcohol. She refused to take any kind of test, telling the officers that she couldn’t due to a medical condition. NK police were also on hand. It was determined that NK police would charge the woman with driving while intoxicated and the other charges would come from EG police. [Editor's Note: charges against the woman were subsequently dropped.]

9:31 p.m. — Police arrested Theresa Anne Kiley, 74, of Greene Street for driving while intoxicated with a BAC in excess of .15 percent after police were called to the parking lot for Kon Asian Bistro on a report of a drunken driver. Police approached Kiley as she was attempting to leave the parking lot and asked her to stop. Kiley was unable to put the car into park, instead it was in reverse. After a third attempt, her car backed into the front right bumper of a police cruiser, at which point her car finally came to a stop. Kiley failed a field sobriety test. At the police station, breath tests showed blood alcohol levels of .202 percent and .196 percent. The legal limit in Rhode Island is .08 percent.

Saturday, Feb. 4

6:55 p.m. — Police arrested Crystal Duran, 29, of Rosemary Drive in North Kingstown, for obstructing an officer, resisting arrest and on three existing bench warrants, after getting a tip that she was downtown. Police found Duran at a bar on Queen Street. When police asked her to step outside, she took off running. Police captured Duran and took her into custody, adding the two new charges to the warrants.
