Blood, Books & More

Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, March 3:

Blood Drive @ Felicia’s: The Rhode Island Blood Center’s Bloodmobile will be parked outside Felicia’s today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Symposium’s Story Hour: Story hour at Symposium Books happens every Saturday morning. Every week we pick a new story and read it to the kids with animal crackers and fun! Favorite stories are "No Matter What" and "Jungle Explorer." Come early and help pick the story, and better yet, there is a 10 percent additional discount on everything in the store during story hour!

Transfer Station: The East Greenwich Transfer Station is located on Crompton Avenue between the Town Boat Ramp and the Sewage Treatment Plant. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. If you want to know the services at the Transfer Station click here.

Girl Scout Cookies: Girl Scout cookie booths will be all over today, helping us fill that GS cookie void we face most of the year. There will be one booth right downtown today, at Tio Mateo’s.

The Music Man: The think methodoly of Professor Harold Hill will be on display tonight, when The Music Man is performed by Rocky Hill students. At Rocky Hill School at 7 p.m. and it’s free!
