It was a longtime wish of Bob Macaux's ... to get hit in the face with a cream pie, a la America'a Funniest Home Videos or his favorite sitcom, Full House. But when the pie finally arrived, he never saw it coming (see Macaux video, right).
That's because his family decided to surprise him with it. Bob, who has Down syndrome and lives in Cowesett with his parents and studies acting at CCRI, was ready to celebrate this big birthday. But Janice and Bill Macaux had determined make it extra special by finally giving Bob what he'd been asking for for years.
And just why did Bob want a pie in the face? As he explained (see video, right), it was to help him laugh at turning 30. In his words, "to break the ice" on turning 30. After all, as he pointed out, he'd never been 30 before.
Happy Birthday Bob!
