[CHAT] Rams Look to Continue Strong Play

Although URI men’s basketball is now 0-3, the Rams gave No. 4 Ohio State all it could handle Saturday evening.

The University of Rhode Island Rams men’s basketball team is still winless, with three losses on the ledger, but they have a chance to redeem themselves quickly with a game with Seton Hall today.

The Rams and the Pirates tip-off tonight, in the consolation game of the Hall of Fame Tipoff Classic at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m., but tip-off is more likely to occur closer to 7:30 p.m.

Like the previous game, we will be providing a live chat and recap of the game as it happens. Want to be e-mailed a reminder before the game starts? Enter your e-mail in the box above.

On Saturday night, the Rams lost 69-58 to No. 4 Ohio State. The Rams stayed with the Buckeyes for a half, before Ohio State pulled away in the second half.

The Rams will play Seton Hall. The Pirates lost 84-73 in overtime in the opening round against Washington. The Huskies will play the Buckeyes at 5 p.m.
