Stanley Lemons, Professor Emeritus of History at Rhode Island College, who will discuss Roger Willams and the issues surrounding the separation of church and state. Dr. Lemons is an expert on Roger Williams and African American History. He is also the church historian for the First Baptist Church in America. For more information, call Bob Houghtaling at 230-2246. 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Trash Collection delayed one day: Because of the Labor Day holiday, if your trash is usually picked up on Thursday, it will be picked up on Friday this week. In addition, the town’s Dept. of Public Works continues to pick up storm debris as it is able. They ask that you leave it at the curb like you do your trash.
