Eddye Golden Raises $14,000 Over 4 Years For MS

She started with only a few friends, but each year her numbers grew. For the MS walk last Sunday, Team Golden had dozens of walkers.

  • Eddye Golden
  • Eddye’s a senior at East Greenwich High School.
  • She's 18 years old.
  • In 2007, Eddye got a few friends to join her in the Rhode Island walk for multiple sclerosis after learning someone she knew had MS. “I decided to take a bigger approach after that,” she said.
  • This year, Team Golden, as it has become known, numbered in the dozens and was comprised of family members and school and family friends. Eddye has raised $14,000 for MS since that first walk her freshman year.
