EG College Students Named To Dean’s List
The following students were honored for their grades for the Fall 2011 semester.

Brendan O'Brien has been named to the dean's list in the University of Notre Dame’s First Year of Studies for outstanding scholarship during the Fall 2011 semester. Students who achieve dean’s honors at Notre Dame represent the top 30 percent of students in their college.
Rebecca Swaszek is a sophomore at Lehigh University, majoring in Industrial Engineering. The dean’s list requires at least a 3.6. She has made the list all three semesters and was elected to the national freshman honor society, Phi Eta Sigma.
Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2011-12 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition. Those students from your circulation area who met this standard are: Laird N. Egan and Scott L. Paradise, both Class of 2012.
Stonehill College recently named the following local residents to its Dean's List for the Fall 2011 semester: Melissa L. Marciano and Susan M. O'Connell of the Class of 2012; Elizabeth M. Perkins and JoAnna C. Steere, of the Class of 2013; and Daniel J. Harnett, of the Class of 2014. To qualify for the Dean's List at Stonehill, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.
Paul Link of East Greenwich was named to the fall 2011 Dean's List at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. To receive this honor, a student must achieve a 3.6 grade average, based on a 4.0 scale.
Amanda Miller has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean's Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in Fall 2011. Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester's work are placed on the College's Dean's Honor List.
The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following local students have been named to the Dean's List for Fall 2011: Marshall Ross and Matthew Wilson.
John Lau has been named to the Fall 2011 Champlain College's Dean's List for academic achievements and achieving a semester grad point average of 3.5 or more. Lau is majoring in marketing.
Alexandra Picerne of East Greenwich made the Dean's List at DePaul University for the fall quarter of 2011. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at DePaul, students must earn above a 3.0 grade point average on a four point scale.
The following students have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall semester of the 2011-2012 academic year. Sarah Asadorian, Kelly Estes, Michaella Marzullo, and Susan Navilliat earned Honors. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest Honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.7 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.5 to 3.69 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.2 through 3.49 are awarded honors.
Kellie Mason, a Middle Childhood Education major, was among more than 600 students from Saint Francis University who made the Fall 2011 Dean's List. To achieve Dean's List at Saint Francis University, the requirements are that the students must have full-time status and must attain a quality point average of at least 3.5 for the given semester.
Dean’s lists are released by colleges and universities over a six-week (or so) period. We welcome submissions and will publish them sporadically over that time period.
