Christmas Tree disposal this week: The Town of East Greenwich will be picking up Christmas Trees (stripped of decorations and NOT in plastic bags) the week of Jan. 7, on your regular trash pickup day.
Last Chance to upload a winter picture: If you have a great picture of a wintery scene from here in East Greenwich (like the one here – how cute is that baby???), upload it here so it can be in the running for the cover picture on the EG Patch Facebook page. I’ll be collecting the pictures until noon today. Voting on the one we like best starts Saturday morning.
Teen Center: The Teen Center has provided a great place to hang out on Friday evenings for decades now. They meet at the gym at Eldredge School but you don’t have to play basketball to enjoy the camraderie. From 6 to 8 p.m.
On Monday … ‘Stressed to the Max!’ Parents are invited to listen and learn from healthcare professionals offering insights on student stress, identifying problem behaviors and offering solutions for students and parents to survive in today's world of enormous distractions and pressures.
