Trash Pickup: Pickup is delayed one day from Tuesday through the rest of the week, so those with regular Thursday pickup should be ready for pickup TODAY.

Vacation mini-camp: KidZone in North Kingstown is holding a four-hour mini-camp for ages 3 to 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. The cost is $40 per child or $60 for siblings for KidZone members and will include a craft, a cooking activity, a group game or activity as well as time for lunch and of course plenty of time for play and bouncing.

Vote for Stanley and Tyler! Our own Stanley Marion’s fantastic Christmas lights display at his mother’s house on Wanton Shippee is up for the grand prize in Patch’s Deck the House Contest. The winner earns $100,000 for the town’s school district. To vote for Stanley's house, click here. Avenger Hockey: The Boys Hockey team takes on Toll Gate tonight at 6 at Benny Mageria Memorial Ice Rink in West Warwick. 

EG Food Cupboard needs donations: People are hungry all year round, Chris and Steve Bartlett of the Food Cupboard remind us. Items especially needed are jars of jelly, baked beans, canned fruit, tuna, peanut butter, and cereals. The food cupboard is housed at St. Luke’s Church. You can leave food there during normal business hours.
