Historic District Commission meeting: The panel will hear only one application, about a sign at 246 Main Street. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. and is held in Council Chambers at Town Hall.
Healthy Babies, Happy Moms Open House: Healthy Babies, Happy Moms Inc. is very happy to announce they are the Rhode Island Milk Depot for the Mothers' Milk Bank of New England starting this month. Mothers wishing to donate their extra breast milk will be able to drop if off at HBHM’s office and they will ship it to Boston. To celebrate, HBHM Inc. is holding an Open House today from noon to 1:30 p.m. at 4512 Post Road in Cowesett. A light buffet lunch will be served. Boat Speed Seminar: Spend an evening with world champion sailor Moose McClintock discussing techniques for increasing your boat speed. This event is free and open to the public and starts at 7 p.m. at East Greenwich Yacht Club. Call 401-884-7700 for more information.
Christmas Tree disposal this week: The Town of East Greenwich will be picking up Christmas Trees (stripped of decorations and NOT in plastic bags) the week of Jan. 7, on your regular trash pickup day.
