Trash pickup delayed one day this week: Because of the Labor Day holiday, trash pickup for the whole week is delayed one day. So, if you usually have trash pickup on Thursdays, this week it will be Friday. Friday pickups will happen on Saturday.
Cove Commission meeting: The CC meets today at 4:30 p.m. at Town Hall. On the agenda is discussion of rights of way, moorings, and a water dock.

“Movie Under the Stars” outdoor movie this Saturday: The Town of East Greenwich, with support from the Main Street Association (MSA) of East Greenwich, and the East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, are pleased to announce that the third annual “Movie Under the Stars” outdoor movie event Saturday at 7 p.m. (rain date of Sunday, Sept. 9), at Academy Field. This year’s movie title is “Jumanji,” starring Robin Williams, rated PG. Admission is free, and refreshments will be available on-site for purchase.
