Crestar "Ladies Night," Library Artists' Reception & More
Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, Nov. 10
Autism Project speaker: At Meadowbrook today there will be a representative from The Autism Project of Rhode Island to talk about autism and how it affects children and families. 1 p.m.
Knitting/crocheting at library: The EG Free Library has started a new knitting and crocheting group. Join us and share your designs and ideas! For more information please contact Rosemary Carlson at 865 - 0800. Every Thursday from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
"Ladies Night" at Crestar: Cathy Buchanan, co-owner of Crestar, the framing company, had a vision: gather together a number of vendors whose products appeal to women and then invite women to spend an evening with them, learning about their products in a relaxed - fun, even - atmosphere. That vision comes to life this evening at Ladies Night. The focus is on health and wellness, targeting local massage, acupuncture, skin and hair care. And for some extra fun, there will be light food, wine consults and belly dancing. If you sign up in advance, via PayPal, the cost for the evening is $15. It is $25 at the door. From 5:30 to 8:30.
EG Art Club at the library: EG Art Club is the East Greenwich Free Library’s November “artist of the month” and there’s an artists’ reception this evening at 5:30. Come meet the artists and enjoy viewing their collection of multi-media, two-dimensional works.
Weather: Well, the great weather was fun while it lasted. Today it will be rainy, but temperatures will remain mild, with highs in the mid-60s.
