New Month, Knitting, LAX & More
Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, March 1.
Nature Tales: Share the joy of reading with a child at Rocky Hill School each month for a nature-inspired storytime. Children ages 2 to 5 and their grown-ups will enjoy stories that are engaging and foster a love of reading. At the RHS library today from 10 to 11 a.m.
Hill & Harbor Knitting and Crocheting Group: This friendly group meets weekly at the East Greenwich Free Library, beginners and experienced alike. All are welcome. From 1 to 3 p.m.
LAX registration: Lacrosse season is getting closer but there is still time to register you child. The season starts in early April and goes to mid-June. New players are always welcome – no experience is necessary.
Claim your EG Patch listing: If you own or manage a business in East Greenwich, there’s a very good chance there’s a listing for it on East Greenwich Patch. If you claim that listing, you can make it your own. It’s easy, it’s free and if you click here, you’ll be able to watch a short video explaining just what to do.
Weather: It looks to be a wet day, with maybe some snow, probably rain, and temperatures in the 30s. Happy March!
