Obituary: Nancy Lee Gray, 72

She was an artist, a flower picker and an island lover.

 


Nancy Lee (Skahill) Gray died Friday, Aug. 17. She was 72. She was the beloved wife of Donald Gray for 35 years. An artist, a flower picker, and an island lover, she had a zest for life.

Nancy was born in Hartford, Conn. She earned a master's degree in art from RISD and taught at CCRI for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Michael Bryan; step-sons Jonathan, Donald, and Todd Gray; five grandchildren; two sisters; a brother, and neices and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Aug. 23, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Burial will take place at Glenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hill Funeral Home.
