Obituary: Raymond B. Maxim, 53
He was a devoted husband, loving father, and respected physician.
Dr. Raymond B. Maxim, 53, passed away March 12. A Cowesett resident, he was the devoted husband of Deborah J. (Hardy) Maxim. Born in Middleboro, Mass., he was the son of Ronald Maxim and the late Carol (Hopkins) Maxim.
Dr. Maxim practiced internal medicine at the Pontiac Medical Group in Cranston.
Besides his wife and father he is survived by two children, Colin M. and Victoria J. Maxim; and siblings Walter Maxim, Donna MacDonald, Holly Madonna, Richard Allen and Susan Chicoine.
He was a 1977 graduate of Middleboro High School; he attended Bridgewater State College and the University of Rhode Island.
He was a devoted husband and father and a steadfast and supportive friend. He was a loyal Patriots fan and enjoyed attending games at Gillette Stadium. (He would not be happy about Wes Welker becoming a Denver Bronco!) He was also a mountain bike enthusiast, and occassional golfer, boater and fisherman.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the East Greenwich United Methodist Church, 1558 South County Trail, E. Greenwich. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Sunday 3 to 6 p.m. in the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich.
