Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, May 2.

 


Planning Board meeting: The building at 60 Crompton Avenue is on the agenda for final approval tonight. The building, which sits above the Transfer Station, was initially planned for business offices. The new owner is planning to put in 16 apartments. The Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

EGHS & Cole Jazz Concert: Cooooooool music will fill the air at Cole Middle School tonight as the high school and middles jazz emsemble takes to the stage at Cole in performance. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and is free. All are welcome.

Avenger home action: The EGHS Golf team will be playing against Bishop Hendricken and Pilgrim at the Avengers’ “home” course today — Potowomut Golf Club on Ives Road — at 3 p.m.
