"Project Happiness" Comes To Town Tonight
The Methodist Church is hosting a viewing of this documentary — teens and parents are especially invited.
How can we be happy in life? What is happiness? A documentary film exploring just those issues is being shown tonight at the EG United Methodist Church and includes a question and answer session with the film's producer.
The event will benefit Gateway Health Services and Friends Way (bereavement services for Rhode Island children).
In this award-winning documentary, youth from three continents interview George Lucas, Richard Gere and neuroscientist Richard Davidson on the nature of lasting happiness. Then, they travel to India for an unforgettable private audience with the XIV Dalai Lama. Through their eyes, audience members gain a new perspective on how to expand your happiness and live a meaningful life. Greater happiness is possible now.
After the film, Project Happiness creator Randy Taran will be on hand for a Q&A discussion on the nature of lasting happiness.
Bring your teens and your friends! A suggested donation of $10 is requested. From 7 to 9 p.m.
