Readers' Choice: Best Sandwich in EG

Where in town do you go when you want a great sandwich?

A sandwich is a quick-and-easy meal, and on most menus, it's the most reliable pick when you're not sure about the other food. It's also usually the cheapest thing you can order.

But as easy as it is to make a great sandwich, only a few places offer a truly awe-inspiring sandwich. You know, the one that you can't help but order even when you know there are more sophisticated dishes on the menu.

This week, we want to know: Which restaurant or deli serves up the best sandwich in East Greenwich?

Is it Frank & John's, Natale's or Wild Harvest?

Vote in our poll below, then share your thoughts in the comments section. If we left your favorite sandwich shop off the list, note that in the comments as well.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the sandwich shop that got the most rave reviews across all of our Rhode Island sites.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

They do. Sadly, that plaza is in North Kingstown. But check out the poll on NK Patch — make sure THEY have Jim's on their list!

Hands down, Natale's Deli on Rte 2 has the best sandwiches. After trying theirs I can't go anywhere else. Go ahead, try their House Club! The Reuben! Delicious! And their meals are pretty tasty, too!

Greenwich Bay Gourmet (aka Tio Mateo's) makes the world's BEST BLT in the summer when ripe native tomatoes are available.
