EGHS Cross Country Meet: The Avengers will be competing against three other teams at this afternoon’s meet at Goddard Park - Hope, Pilgrim and Classical high schools. The meet begins at 4 p.m.

EG Historic Preservation Society meeting: Professor Michael A. Rice of URI will tell about a trout farm in Carolina, R.I., that was established by the Hazard farmily of Peace Dale in 1877.
