Storm Forecast To Begin Tonight, Continue Into Saturday
As of now, anyway, it's looking like all snow and lots of it.
A very big snow storm is heading toward East Greenwich with snowfall forecast to begin Thursday evening and last into Saturday, with accumulation of a foot or more by the end of it.
Because East Greenwich is by the water, there is some chance snow will mix with rain at points during the storm, but the latest information from the National Weather Service has us getting snow, not rain.
Although the snow is due to begin Thursday night, the heaviest snow may not take place until Friday night. School officials have not made any decisions yet concerning Friday school. Update: School has been cancelled.
East Greenwich Patch will be updating the forecast later today and will be checking in with town and school officials. If you have any specific questions or concerns, leave them in the comments section here or send me an email at elizabeth.mcnamara@patch.com.

If we lose power, will there be any warming stations or charging stations in EG?
