[VIDEO] R.I. House District 33 and 34 Forum

We have the full, hour-long video from the House District 33 and 34 forum on Wednesday night.

Couldn't make it out to hear the forum for candidates for House District 33 and 34 on Wednesday night?

Have no fear! Thanks to the League of Women Voters, we're able to provide a full copy of that forum, which featured all of the candidates for office. The video is attached to this story.

If you can't watch it on here for some reason, the forums are also being run back on both the Cox and Verizon cable systems.

So, pull up a chair and take part in the democratic process!

teresa tanzi in district 34 is 1 of 75 reasons rhode island is ranked number fifty for doing business and has the second highest unemployment rate in the country. she would like to see tighter regulations on large and medium businesses. if large and medium sized businesses leave ri and new ones never come, then people will have no jobs or money and hence the small businesses will not have any business or revenue at all. Actually, the reps like this and their policies need more regulation and oversight by third party analysts and citizens. this person is known as a total “CARPETBAGGER” within the community. a politician who suddenly moves into a locality and seeks public office where she has no real connections. the best thing this person can do for the district and state of ri is – get a job for once, pay some taxes and take many courses in statistics so she can interpret data and stats correctly. she looks foolish trying to use statistics and percentages. It is the LOCALS vs. CARPETBAGGERS

Rep. Tanzi unable to answer the "yes' and "no" questions without asking for an explanation or for the question to be repeated. Seriously?

She does have the mental acumen to cash Speaker Fox's $1000K campaign check though. Thanks Gordon... making sure that Teresa sits down and shuts up this session... can't say I blame you.

Rep. Teresa Tanzi is a freshman in the Rhode Island House of Representatives, a pathological organizer, a feminist mom, a gardener, an activist, a biker, a wanna-be farmer and sometimes even makes dinner. She is a terrible friend, but a passionate advocate for women’s equality, marriage equality, public transportation, tax fairness, producer responsibility, and walkable, bikeable, livable communities. Since moving to RI in 2000, she has worked with victims of domestic violence, helped start a community garden, organized a farm-to-food pantry program, joined the executive boards of the R.I. National Organization for Women and Rhode Island’s own progressive stalwart, Ocean State Action. She unseated an 11-year incumbent in her first run for political office and looks forward to campaigning this summer to serve another term. She says she has so much more work to do and loves every minute of it. Yep... she is just what RI needs... another one in denial about the fact that RI is dead last in everything. What a nut this woman is.

YEP... couldn 't agree more... NJ leftist, environmental nutjob, Rep. Tanzi is simply not a good fit for our district. Worse, she said she doesn't like having meetings with her constituents. And yes, I am a Swamp Yankee, born in Kingston and now live in Peacedale.
