[VIDEO] 'Self Storage' Actors Talk Craft

Okay, East Greenwich isn't quite Hollywood ... yet. But at the rate Chad Verdi's filming, our little town is becoming a hub of movie making in the Northeast. The latest film to come out of the Verdi/Woodhaven production family is "Self Storage," next door to the U.S. Post Office.

On Friday, cast members – including writer/director Tom DeNucci, sat down with reporters to talk about the movie.

Those present were:

– Michael Berryman, a character actor who will be familiar to many from such film as "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "The Hills Have Eyes," among many other roles.

– Tom DeNucci, who wrote the film (over seven years), and is starring and directing it, was there. The Cranston native has been in all four of Chad Verdi's films.

– Gillian Williams, an actor who plays the innocent female lead.

– Tom Paolino, an actor who plays the role of a happy-go-lucky mailman. Paolino has acted in all four of Verdi's films.

– Nick Principe, a Warwick native who is the stunt director for the film.

The biggest star in the film, Eric Roberts – an Academy Award nominee and brother of Julia Roberts – will be on the set this coming week.
