[VIDEO] 'Self Storage' Actors Talk Craft

Chad Verdi's latest movie – another horror flick – is filming here in EG; the actors sat down with reporters on Friday for an interview.


Okay, East Greenwich isn't quite Hollywood ... yet. But at the rate Chad Verdi's filming, our little town is becoming a hub of movie making in the Northeast. The latest film to come out of the Verdi/Woodhaven production family is "Self Storage," next door to the U.S. Post Office.

On Friday, cast members – including writer/director Tom DeNucci, sat down with reporters to talk about the movie.

Michael Berryman, a character actor who will be familiar to many from such film as "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "The Hills Have Eyes," among many other roles.

Tom DeNucci, who wrote the film (over seven years), and is starring and directing it, was there. The Cranston native has been in all four of Chad Verdi's films.

Gillian Williams, an actor who plays the innocent female lead.

Tom Paolino, an actor who plays the role of a happy-go-lucky mailman. Paolino has acted in all four of Verdi's films.

Nick Principe, a Warwick native who is the stunt director for the film.

The biggest star in the film, Eric Roberts – an Academy Award nominee and brother of Julia Roberts – will be on the set this coming week.
