You Pick: Best Place to Take Your Valentine in EG

Tell us your favorite local spot for a romantic meal.

Valentine's Day is Tuesday, and for the couples among us, that usually means a romantic dinner at a favorite local restaurant.

Whether it's a corner booth at Siena, a cosy dinner at the bar at Bistro Nine, or sharing a pie at Frank & John's because it was the site of your first date — we want to hear your thoughts on which local restaurant is best for a special Valentine's night meal.

Vote in our poll below, then share your thoughts in the comments section. If we left your favorite restaurant off the list, note that in the comments as well.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the restaurant that got the most rave reviews across all of our Rhode Island sites.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

You really ought try Los Besos on Main and Elm. I heard the owner interviewed on TV while I was waiting for an MRI(!), and I have been twice, once for lunch and last night for Valentine's Day dinner with my partner. The food and service are just right. They even have heat lamps outside the front door to warm your entrance and exit and to keep the restaurant warmer. Karen P.
