Tuesday, Nov. 17:18 p.m. - Police charged Jonathan Staley, 21, of Providence with marijuana possession after he was stopped because of speeding on Division Street. Staley was pulled over near Heritage Park after he was clocked driving 50 mph in a 25 mph zone. He told police that he couldn’t lower his window because it was broken. When Staley opened his door, police detected the smell of marijuana. The car belonged to Staley’s passenger’s mother.
