Professor Michael A. Rice of the University of Rhode Island will tell about a trout farm in Carolina, RI that was established by the Hazard farmily of Peace Dale in 1877. It was the largest trout farm in the United States and operated until 1995.
The meeting is open to the public and begins with a potluck supper at 6:30. Please call Susan Curado at 884-4643 for reservations.
