All of East Greenwich's Little Leaguers will take part in the EGLL Opening Day Parade and Ceremonies. Team pictures will be taken after the ceremonies. Kids should be in uniform.
Please plan to be at Academy Field no later than 9:30am so we can get organized for the parade. The parade steps off at 10am and proceeds down Church Street, then south onto Main Street, west onto First Ave for one block, south on 2nd Street, west onto 4th Ave, and straight to Cragan Field. The Ceremony will follow immediately after the parade.

More About Academy Field
So named because it was once the athletic field for the old East Greenwich Academy, Academy Field hosts a number of a community events throughout the year, such as community concerts and the weekly farmers market.
Little League baseball and softball games are played here in the spring and the youth soccer league uses the field in the fall. There is also a playground and a basketball court.
