MOPS is a program for moms of young children, meeting for encouragement, practical parenting advice and growth both personally and spiritually. MOPS will meet from 9 to 1 a.m. at the Christ Church Ministry Center, 61 Cedar Ave., Unit 1, every other Friday. Cost to register with MOPS International is $23.99 per year. There will also be a $30/semester fee for child care and supplies (all checks should be made out to Christ Church). More About Christ Church
Since 1990, Christ Church has grown from a handful of families to a very active parish with more than 750 attending services on a typical Sunday. Services are held at 8am at the church sanctuary and also at 9am and 10:45am at Cole Middle School (100 Cedar Ave).
Christ Church is affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church. Its mission is to "build compassionate Christian communities that transform lives and bring hope to the world."
The church offers many small and large group Bible studies throughout the week, has an active world mission program, large youth group for the teens, and many community outreach programs.
