PROJECT PURPLE! Stand up against substance abuse and wear purple to the Quadruple-Header Avengers Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball games on 1/18 and help The EGHS Varsity Club and The Avengers Booster Club “Paint It Purple!” Games begin @ 3:30 p.m. @ EGHS. Check goavengers.org for the complete schedule.
Enter the half-time “Buck-A-Ball” shooting contest to win a free slice of pizza and a drink at The Avengers Booster Bites Concession Stand. Compete in the “Take Flight with Project Purple” paper plane contest to win a signed copy of Chris Herren’s book, Basketball Junkie; a $25 Orange Leaf gift card; or, an Avengers Athletics sweatshirt ($45 value). More About East Greenwich High School
East Greenwich High School serves students in grades 9-12. It is regularly ranked as one of the highest performing public high schools in Rhode Island.
Located on Avenger Drive, the local public high school has been here since 1967. Last year, the high school underwent significant renovations, which added a new science lab, a new entrance and a new athletic field complex. There are 759 students and 76 teachers.
Joe Millitelo is the interim principal, and Michael Podraza is the vice principal.
