Help Grant Children’s Wishes by Donating Your Unused Airline Miles to Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island

Tune in to NBC 10 on December 5^th for Wishes in Flight Telethon

Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island and NBC 10 invite the public to participate in an upcoming day-long Wishes in Flight telethon on Dec. 5. Viewers are welcome to donate their frequent flier airline miles to help grant the wishes of seriously ill children in our community.

Nearly 75 percent of all wishes involve airline travel each year and all donations received during theWishes in Flight program will help defray the largest wish-granting expense. All are encouraged to call and donate airline miles from Delta, US Airways, and United.

The telethon will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Donations can be made by calling NBC 10 at 401-224-1527. Volunteers will be ready to take calls all day long. Airline miles can also be donated online at www.massri.wish.org/index.cfm?pid=12395
