Broadway Babies (Literally) & 2015 Budget

NO recycle pickup this week: Just trash goes to the curb this week.

Christmas Tree curbside collection: The town will collect your tree and recycle it, but not until the weeks of Jan. 6-10 and Jan. 13-17. Just make sure your tree is bare – no ornaments, tinsel, metal or wires – and NOT in a plastic bag. If you’ve used a bag to get your tree out of your house neatly, just make sure to pull it off. Any questions, please call the Department of Public Works at 886-8620/886-8621.

Broadway Babies Town Rec program: Today’s the first meeting of a six-week session for preschoolers. Teaching artist Valerie Remillard Myette, students will learn and perform songs from the Broadway Musical "Mary Poppins." Materials will be provided and the class includes a final showcase that family and friends are welcome to attend. Grief support group: The Too Much Too Soon Support Group for adults who’ve lost a loved one meets in the conference room at the police department. It will be led by Bob Houghtaling and Andrew Paul Maksymowicz. Affordable Housing Commission meeting: They meet at Town Hall (Conf. Room B, next to the Town Clerk’s office). Here’s the agenda. 3 p.m.
