Business After Hours At New Training Facility

Your guide for life in East Greenwich today, Jan. 15.

Christmas tree curbside collection & recyclables: This is the last week the town will collect your tree and recycle it. Just make sure your tree is bare – no ornaments, tinsel, metal or wires – and NOT in a plastic bag. If you’ve used a bag to get your tree out of your house neatly, just make sure to pull it off. Also, this is a recycle week – pull those big blue toters to the curb. For more information, check out the town’s DPW website here.

NK & EG Chambers’ Business After Hours: The brand new Poliquin fitness training facility is the place for a joint EG and NK Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours. 1598 South County Trail. 5:30 p.m.

Kent Co. Water Authority meeting: The panel (which includes representatives from all the communities KCWA serves, including East Greenwich) meets at the main office, 1072 Main St. You’ll find the agenda here. 3:30 p.m.

EG Little League registration is open: Spring is on its way! It’s that time of year again, and Little League baseball, softball and tee ball registration is open.
