BND Coat Exchange: This year, the 17th Annual Buy Nothing Day Winter Coat Exchange comes to East Greenwich. The exchange takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Church. If you have a coat to give, please drop it off. If you need a coat, please pick one up. Leftover coats will be donated to the thrift shop at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and to homeless shelters through the Mobile Loaves and Fishes program at St. Luke’s. Volunteers are needed on the day of the event. To volunteer or for any questions, contact Jean Ann Guliano at 401-323-5196 or jaw408@aol.com.

3rd Annual Turkey Trot: The fun begins at 8:30 a.m. with a 1-Mile Fun Run run. The main event, a 5K race, starts at 9. Registration at the Varnum Armory opens at 7 a.m. The course highlights the Hill & Harbour district. Come join this great community event, sponsored by the Main Street Association. There’s still time to register online. For more information, here’s the website.

Shop Local: Small Biz Saturday will be in full swing on Main Street, a trolley will be providing transportation from noon to 4 p.m. and shops showing off their holiday goods. Here’s info about Saturday, Santa’s arrival Dec. 5, and the four Sunday holiday strolls.

Blood Drive: Give a little something back Saturday at the blood drive at Felicia’s from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can sign up ahead of time here.

Boy Scout wreath sale: Boy Scout Troop 2 EG holds its annual fundraiser, a Christmas Wreath sale, on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Felicia's Coffee. The natural balsam fir wreaths are available in two sizes. Regular wreaths are 18 to 20 inches and are $12. Large wreaths are 36 to 42 inches and are $30.

Magic of Motown at the Odeum: The Greenwich Odeum presents The Magic of Motown, transporting you back to the golden era of Motown. From 1961 to 1971, Motown Records had 110 top 10 hits! You'll hear only the greatest of these hits and more. 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online here.
