Last day to vote for Odeum movie: The Odeum is going to start showing movies again and they are looking to the public to decide which movie to start with from a list of six possible movies. Voting ends today – to vote, click on the story here.

EG Booster Club meeting: The EGHS Booster Club will meet in the Police Community Room at 7 p.m. All are encouraged to come!

Scout Night at Biomes: Scout Night at Biomes is a special evening just for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and their families. Come with your troop or with your family to enjoy all of the marine life here at Biomes! And be sure to think about any requirements you can fill by coming here and studying our animals and their habitats! $8 for scouts and members; $10 for everyone else age 3 and up. 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Schools Finance Committee meeting: The panel meets at the school administration building, 111 Peirce Street, 7:30 a.m. (that’s right, morning).

Library Friends Celebration: The whole week is dedicated to celebrating Friends of the EG Library in conjunction with National Friends of Libraries Week. The highlight of the week is a delicious reception Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome – you don’t have to be a “friend.” At the library, of course!

EGHS Cabaret 2013: East Greenwich High School Drama Department is proud to present its annual Cabaret 2013. Drama students will be performing a wide array of dramatic hits Thursday and Friday evenings at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person, and include complimentary refreshments (while they last).

State GOP chair in EG: Mark Smiley, chairman of the R.I. Republican Party, will speak in front of the EG Republican Town Committee Thursday, discussing the state of the party and plans for the 2014 elections. At Caprice,455 Main Street, at 7 p.m.
