Kitchen Medicine: Members and friends of the Cindy Wood Garden Club are invited to learn about healing foods from EG resident AeRhee Lee, a pharmacist by trade. She has developed a line of gentle food restoratives based on Korean comfort food called juk, porridge-style foods made with organic grains and herbal infusions to aid in various health needs. Anyone interested in these healing foods or the garden club is invited to attend. Call Marnie Sandham at 886-9266 or Joni Plunkett at 885-2868 for more information. Historic Cemetery Commission meeting: The newly appointed commission will elect officials at the meeting at Town Hall. Here’s the full agenda. 6 p.m.

Municipal Land Trust meeting: On the agenda is an update of work taking place at Boesch Farm. At the Town Council Conference Room at Town Hall. 6:30 p.m.

School Committee meeting: On the agenda is further discussion and a vote on 1:1 devices for EGHS and Cole students in September. In the library at Cole Middle School. 7 p.m.

Trivia Night Benefit for NK Food Pantry: Bravo Pizza is holding a series of trivia nights to benefit the North Kingstown Food Pantry. Teams of 2 to 6 players can register to compete in any of trivia nights from Jan. 21 to Feb. 25. Call 398-2500 or register your team on Bravo’s Facebook page. Gift Certificate Prizes to Bravo and Area Merchants will be awarded to the top 2 teams. Teams are asked to bring items for the NK Food Pantry when they come for Trivia Night. Items most in need now are: personal hygiene items such as toilet paper, dish washing soap, laundry soap, toothpaste, soaps and shaving creams, and shampoos.

Hero 2 Hire event at Rok Bar: Military service members and spouses are invited to a RI Hero 2 Hired free job-networking event at Rok Bar and Grill, 11 Main St., EG. Meet potential new employers in an informal setting. It's relaxed. It's social. It can work for you!
