Planning Board To Consider 10-Lot Subdivision On Frenchtown Road

Veterans Affairs Aid Workshop: Greenwich Bay Retirement Living is hosting an educational workshop conducted by Scott Grande of Veterans Financial, about this VA benefit at 3 p.m. The event will take place at Greenwich Bay, 945 Main St. It is free and open to the public.

Affordable Housing Commission meeting: The panel meets at Town Hall at 3 p.m.

Cove Commission meeting: The panel meets at Town Hall at 4:30 p.m. On the agenda is a discussion with Greenwich Cove Marina’s owner and a review of his property survey and CRMC’s Adopt an Access Program. You’ll find the agenda here.

Planning Board meeting: On the agenda is review of a master plan application for “Frenchtown Place,” a 10-lot residential cluster subdivision on Frenchtown Road. At 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall.

ONEsdays with The Lost Arts: Local band The Lost Arts is playing Wednesday nights at the Greenwich Hotel, playing great music and bringing awareness to the One Campaign to eliminate extreme poverty and preventable disease. Giada De Laurentiis at Dave's: Giada De Laurentiis will sign copies of her new book, "Giada's Feel Good Food," at the EG Dave's Marketplace Thursday at 4 p.m. The book, $20 rather than the $32.50 list price, is available at Dave’s Marketplace of East Greenwich. Customers who pre-purchase their cookbooks should bring their receipt with cookbook on the day of the signing. Only books purchased at Dave’s Marketplace will be signed. 

Twenty40 networking event: Twenty40 is a young professionals multi-Chamber of Commerce networking that will meet at Phil’s Main Street Grill in Wickford.  Multi-Chamber networking event sponsored by the N.K., E.G. & S.R.I. chambers. $5 per person. EG Food Cupboard needs donations: People are hungry all year round, Chris and Steve Bartlett of the Food Cupboard remind us. Items especially needed are jars of jelly, baked beans, canned fruit, tuna, peanut butter, and cereals. The food cupboard is housed at St. Luke’s Church. You can leave food there during normal business hours.
