Teen Center Offers Place To Go Tonight

Your guide for life in East Greenwich today, Nov. 8.

Recycles and yard waste get picked up this week: Just a reminder – this week we need to put both trash AND recycle containers curbside, and yard waste too. (Yard waste will be picked upevery week in November.)

Teen Center: The Teen Center has provided a great place to hang out on Friday evenings for decades now. They meet at the gym at Eldredge School but you don’t have to play basketball to enjoy the camaraderie. From 6 to 8 p.m.

EG Food Cupboard needs donations: People are hungry all year round, Chris and Steve Bartlett of the Food Cupboard remind us. Items especially needed are jars of jelly, baked beans, canned fruit, tuna, peanut butter, and cereals. The food cupboard is housed at St. Luke’s Church. You can leave food there during normal business hours.
