Town Meeting Trifecta

EG Housing Authority meeting: The panel meets at 4:15 at 146 First Avenue. On the agenda is recognition of Family Self-Sufficiency participant Kimberly Gilbert.

School Committee meeting: On the agenda (which you’ll find here) is a presentation of a plan to consolidate town and school technology infrastructure and more on strategic planning. The meeting starts at 7 p.m., in the library at Cole Middle School.

Land Trust meeting: They meet in the conference room across from Council Chambers at Town Hall at 6 p.m. You will find the agenda here.

Launch Job Fair: Launch Trampoline Park, on Bald Hill Road in Warwick, is holding a Job Fair on Tuesday at 4 p.m. They are seeking “outgoing and energetic individuals who are committed to providing excellent customer service in a fun and fast paced environment.”

EG High School PTG meeting: All parents and guardians of high school students are invited to the PTG meeting Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria.

Marijuana forum: A community discussion about the role of marijuana in society and how best to reduce harm and protect young people. A pizza dinner will be served at 5:30, with the discussion starting after. At Swift Community Center. Panelists include: Peter Asen of the Providence Mayor's Substance Abuse Prevention Council, Rebecca McGoldrick of Protect Families First, Don Anderson of the Rhode Island Council of Churches, Michael C. Screening of “Pink Ribbon Inc.”: Are pink ribbons really about the cure, or about corporate profits? That’s the question asked by the documentary “Pink Ribbons Inc.,” which will be shown at The Hive in the Lafayette Mills, 640 Ten Rod Road, NK, on Wednesday at 6 p.m. There will be refreshments and conversation. All are welcome. It's free!

Estate planning for people w/disabilities: Sargent Rehabilitation Center, partnering with Roger Williams University School of Law Pro Bono Collaborative presents this legal presentation conducted by the law firm of Edwards Palmer LLP. This free workshop is open to the public and is intended for families with members who are disabled including children with disabilities. Planning Board meeting: On the agenda is review of a combined preliminary and final plan application for the expansion of Sweet Peas Village preschool and daycare center. The proposed addition – at 836 Middle Road – consists of a two-story building with 2,880 square feet of gross floor area. At 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall.
