send your original 1-page poem to friendseglibrary@gmail.com and it will be posted in the East Greenwich Free Library Poetry Corner (no attachments, please). We're celebrating National Poetry Month at the Library with the Poetry Corner, a poetry tea with Tom Chandler (April 12 2-4pm) and a poets' reception with Rick Benjamin and Lisa Starr (April 24, 6-8pm). Chandler, Benjamin, and Starr have all served as RI's Poet Laureate. Benjamin is the current Poet Laureate. Support your library!
