EGHS Alumni making a difference in South Africa

My name is Ellie Wronski. I graduated from East Greenwich High School in 2012. I went to CCRI for a year, and moved to California the following summer to be a full time nanny for two new-born twins and a toddler.

After moving to California I was introduced to two young men who started a non-profit organization called "Swings for Dreams". The mission of Swings for Dreams is to design, build, and fund safe sustainable play spaces for children all over the world. The organization asked me to be a part of their team as a Youth Coordinator. I happily accepted. Helping people, working with children, and making a difference in this world is something I am very passionate about.

This summer I will be traveling to South Africa with them to not only build a safe play space for the children of the Lettie De Klerk Primary School in Nieu-Bethesda, but I will also be working directly with the children. I made an IndieGoGo campaign in order to raise the necessary funds to travel with them. There I described in more detail what it is I will be doing. Please check out my campaign to learn more and to find out how you can help me travel!
