Herb Gardening Program, Saturday June 7th @ 2pm at the East Greenwich Free Library

Growing, Preserving and Cooking with Herbs!

East Greenwich, RI:  The Friends of the East Greenwich Free Library will co-host a special event with the Cindy-Wood Garden Club on Saturday, June 7th, 2014 at 2:00pm

This exciting program will feature Gardening consultant Paul Split, who will show how to grow, preserve and cook with herbs at the East Greenwich Free Library. He will demonstrate how to make a beautiful and useful hanging herb basket, and will serve a delicious salad made with organic herbs.

Paul is an instructor for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society's Master Gardener Program and has served as a judge and lecturer at garden shows throughout the northeast. His presentations have the energy of Emeril Lagasse and are as informative as Julia Child. He will have his special hanging herb basket kits for sale at the library event.
