Ocean State Soccer’s U13 Girls Win Big!

Ocean State Soccer’s Select U13 Girls “Wildcats” were champions at the Scorpion Bowl Premier soccer tournament held in greater Boston during the weekend of February 28th – March 2nd.  The girls won all of their 4 games, defeating teams from some of Massachusetts  strongest Premier soccer clubs - including Scorpions Soccer and NEFC - and clinched the final victory over North Shore United with a thrilling penalty shoot-out.  The Scorpion Bowl is ranked as the 50th strongest girls tournament in the country so this was no small victory! This is also the Wildcats’ 2nd Premier tournament championship in less than a year.  The team, which is coached by Jeff Boldt, with Greg Pilgrim as Assistant Coach, includes 6th and 7th grade players from North Kingstown, as well as East Greenwich, Exeter and Warwick.  For more information about Ocean State's competitive and recreational programs, please visit www.oceanstatesoccer.org
