The drive will be held today on what would have been Helen's 86th birthday. Beautiful summer weather continues. Expect clear, sunny skies again today with temperatures in the mid-80s, dropping 20 degrees after sunset.

Main Street Stroll: That’s right, there’s a second stroll this month. This Thursday’s stroll is the popular “Taste of Main Street” event. Come walk Main Street, sample some food, take in some live music and visit the shops and vendors. From 5 to 8 p.m.

Zumbamania 3: This is going to be HOT, the instructors promise. Five instructors are coming together for a great evening of Zumba at the Varnum Armory on Main Street, including Latin, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, and Bhangra styles. It’s $15 at the door. 6:30 p.m.

‘I Have A Dream’ remembrance: Youth to Youth is hosting a pizza party and discussion about Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous speech on the Washington Mall 50 years ago Wednesday, Aug. 28. The speech will be shown. From 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Police Department Community Room. All are welcome.
