5 Things: Affordable Housing, Historic District & More Snow?

Five things to know for Feb. 12.

1.  The EG Historic Commission meets this Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. at town hall. Click here for the agenda.

2.  The EG Affordable Housing Commission is hosting an information session at the library Wednesday, Feb. 12. The commission will discuss the status of affordable housing in town. Right now the housing stock in EG consists of 4.3 percent affordable units vs. the state's threshold of 10 percent, which was mandated in 2005. The event will be held at the East Greenwich Library at 1 p.m.

5.  Wednesday Day: sunny with highs near 25, wind chills around -4. Wednesday Night: a chance of snow after 4 a.m. with lows around 40. Thursday: snow before 1 p.m., then rain and snow in the afternoon and highs around 38. Snow accumulations around 5 to 9 inches.
