"We are so grateful for their dedication and are looking forward to working with Avengers for Animals in the future," the league said on its Facebook page.

Meanwhile, the EGAPL has moved into the East Greenwich Animal Hospital at 4302 Post Road after a search for a new home.

Adoption days will continue to be held every Sunday from 10:30 to 1 p.m. at the new location.
