Most moms agree that some time away from their kids and their homes can help make them a better parent.  Therefore, it's in the best interest of  your children that you grab a friend or your spouse, and head over to for a special  lunch treat. 

The lunch specials are incredibly reasonable (a sushi lunch is offered for $9) and the adult time can do wonders.  Moms often take care of everything before tending to themselves.  Carving out time with a friend (or spouse)  is important and rejuvenating and clearly, it doesn't have to be expensive or time-consuming.  Becoming a mother is one of the biggest commitments that a woman can make and we all feel overwhelmed from time to time.
