Hill District Cleanup Planned Sat. July 19 — Come on Out!

The weather looks great, so it should be an enjoyable day to mingle with other like-minded people who believe that Earth Day really every day.

It's time to strap on the gloves, shake out some trash bags and get East Greenwich's historic Hill district in ship shape!

The event is sponsored by the town and the Main Street Association of East Greenwich and volunteers will meet in the Academy Field parking lot at around 9 a.m. and "spread out from there," said Juliana M. Berry King, municipal planning technician.

The weather looks great, so it should be an enjoyable day to mingle with other like-minded people who believe that Earth Day really every day.

There will be some supplies provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves or trash bags.

A map of the area is attached to the article and the parking lot meeting spot is marked by a blue square.
